The only WordPress theme that puts your pictures
back at the center of the stage.
While we certainly are no strangers to designing photographic themes, we always though we could do better. Great feedback from our users is the driving force of our design process, and one thing that kept popping up was that more relevance could be given to the real protagonists of the show: the photos themselves.
That’s why we’ve created Superba. We consider Superba our best experiment yet concerning the display of visual content, because it has so many variants and allows to easily manage images and videos.
Albums
Albums are visual content collectors: they can contain multiple pictures and videos, and they display, describe and catalogue media in a meaningful way.
Templates
The way we present content is crucial, and that's why albums can be laid out in four different unique forms: carousel, slideshow, mosaic and grid.
Carousels and slideshows display images horizontally and slideshows can also go full screen, while mosaics and grids are a more traditional way of displaying media in an aligned form.
Über albums
Album pages can have their own set of images or automatically pull content from other albums and projects.
This way, you’ll be able to create, for example, a macro-album fetching all the pictures that are tagged as “Portrait”, no matter what album/project they’re in.
Taxonomy
Visual content needs to be catalogued, grouped and displayed in a meaningful way: Media Library items that are added to albums and projects have their own specific taxonomy so that they can be tagged and filtered in album pages.
Builder album block
If you're using the built-in page builder, albums can also be added to the page layout using their specific builder block component, which also has its own display settings, including the über cool iPhoto-mode.
Focusing on images
To enjoy your content in the best way possible, we have created a gallery mode, which takes out all the clutter and lets you access images and videos in a clean, distraction-free fashion.
Native full-screen support and optimized display on mobile devices, will make browsing through images and video a bliss.
Images throughout the theme can automatically be protected from being right clicked without the need to install external plugins, and when they're loaded in gallery mode, they support titles as well as captions, and can also fetch their own Exif data.
Projects
Add projects to your portfolio, select different layouts, add images and videos as well as custom project-specific information.
Splash
With the Splash page template you'll be able to create a killer intro page, with a fullscreen image, slogan an social links: a great introduction to your website! See it for yourself in the Photographer demo.
Page Builder
Create unlimited layout combinations thanks to the built-in page builder.
Blog
Focus on pictures doesn't mean we forgot about the blog: two layout variations, tons of options to filter blog items and a clean, readable design for everyone to enjoy.

To top it all off, the theme features great support for the leading e-commerce plugin out there, WooCommerce.
